1980
After working as a radio DJ in 1979, Brent started working as a wedding and mobile DJ in Cape Town. He was contracted to a wedding DJ and mobile DJ company before investing in his own equipment and started Flight 206 Mobile DJ in 1981. He was an extremely successful Wedding DJ, Party DJ and Corporate DJ performing at many parties, weddings and corporate events (clients including Kodak, Standard Bank, Barclays Bank and many of the hotels).
1992
Brent sold most of his DJ equipment and moved to the Overberg to go go farming. While there he catered for the demand for a Wedding DJ, Mobile DJ, MC and entertainer and played, performed and was DJ at many events in and around the Overberg and the nearby coastal towns.
2003
Brent returned to Cape Town and eased off DJing for a period but continued with his MC and entertainment work.
2006
Brent, full of renewed enthusiasm, began resuming working as a Wedding DJ, Mobile DJ and Corporate DJ in addition to his MC and entertainment roles.
2015
A whole lease of life as DJ Brent now started to embrace the digital world as a DJ and started investing in new equipment and working as a Wedding DJ, Mobile D and Corporate DJ. At the same time he was back on radio as a Radio DJ presenting music shows and started working on major events at some of the biggest venues in the country featuring some of the biggest stars and personalities.
